Volunteers Needed: Open Streets SLC

From Scott Lyttle, Executive Director, Bike Utah.

Bike Utah and SLC Transportation have teamed up to bring the first Open Streets initiative to Salt Lake City.
On Saturday May 4, Open Streets SLC will temporarily open a busy downtown street exclusively to walking, biking, jogging, and more – no vehicle traffic.  There will be extra fun along the route  activities such as yoga, dance classes, sports, and family friendly games and activities. Be a part of this national movement and volunteer at Open Streets SLC!  Join us as we explore and get to know downtown in a new way. 70 volunteers are needed to help with many aspects of the event, and 2-3 hour shifts are available from 7:30 am – 4:30 pm. 1. This sounds absolutely incredible. Thanks so much for getting this going! If I was in the country, I promise I'd make my way for this one. I hope it goes over as well as I'm imagining it.
